With Graham, our Captain on holiday in Ireland, it was
Luc, our Vice-Captain, who organised this week’s competition. Having played a team game last week, for this week he had
arranged for us to play Singles Stableford.
There were 24 members competing, the numbers were slightly up
from last week as some members had returned to “sunny Spain”. Well played to
the top five placings. They delivered a very close game. It was good to see James in the prizes and
getting back to his old form. There were also 4 guests competing for the guest
prize which was won for the second time running by William, having had his
handicap cut by 2 strokes and still coming in with 36 points.
Finally, I would like to mention that some of the
members who came attired in our new CBGS shirt and cap, all looked very smart
in their azur blue outfits.

5th place with 34 points off 14 hcp, Tony Dewavrin4th place with 34 points off 14 hcp, Michael Davison (beating Tony on the back 9)
3rd place with 34 points off 21 hcp, Chris van Bemmelen (beating Michael on the back 9)
2nd place with 35 points off 18 hcp, James Burnet
1st place with 35 points off 21 hcp, Jean-Paul Leroux (beating James on the back 9)
