Venue: Bonalba Golf & Spa, 29 October 2014
Today’s competition was a team game. 34 members and
guests took part in chasing the “yellow ball”.
Each team member in succesion was playing the “yellow ball” which
awarded double Stableford points. The
three best scores on each hole counted but the yellow ball had to be included
in the count even if no points were scored. The par of the competition was 144
and the winning team came very close to it with a magnificent 142 points and 11
points ahead of the second place. The Captain and his team obviously did not
feel the pressure when addressing the yellow ball unlike some of us!
It is good to see Edi in the prizes and managing to play
so well so soon after his recent life threatening operation.
There was no guest prize today as our guests played as
part of the teams and as can be seen from the results did well for their teams.

There were two twos today from Les and Gay. They received the customary golf ball.
