Today with 31 members and 1 guest we were back to cold and blustery conditions and scoring was therefore quite difficult, although not for some! This was the 10th Round of the CL Golf League and with only 2 rounds to go it´s quite close at the top.We welcomed back our Competition Secretary after having his brain recharged in a Birmingham Health Farm and with 36 points he must have thought he´d won however Jan Boultbee had a very impressive 37 points but even that was beaten by a magnificent score of 40 points by Peter Corbett. Peter had his clubs re-gripped by Clive Dresner and they were obviously to his liking! Great score Peter!
Sadly Clive will be leaving for Sunnier climes in March, having decided to take up residence in Scotland. Good luck Clive you´ll be sadly missed by all, particularly your golfing buddy Dennis. Where´s the leaving party?
